QA Engineer

At ErthDev, we build custom software for businesses across different industries. We're looking for a QA Engineer who enjoys finding problems before our clients and users do.

We want someone who can think beyond test cases and ask:

What could go wrong?

What did we assume?

What happens at the edge of the system?

What you'll do

• Understand requirements and identify testable scenarios.
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Validate APIs and integrations.
• Test across supported browsers and devices where applicable.
• Identify edge cases and unexpected behavior.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects clearly.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate root causes.
• Participate in requirements and technical discussions early in the development process.
• Verify fixes and prevent regressions.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and standards.
• Help define meaningful quality criteria for releases.

Quality at ErthDev

QA is not a gatekeeper who appears at the end of development.

QA is part of the engineering process.

We use Trunk-Based Development, continuous integration, automated testing, code reviews, and incremental delivery.

We want QA engineers involved early enough to prevent problems-not simply report them after they've been built.

What we're looking for

• Strong understanding of software testing principles.
• Experience with functional and exploratory testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand technical systems and API behavior.
• Good understanding of HTTP and web applications.
• Experience working with API testing tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers and product teams.

Experience with Postman, Playwright, Cypress, browser developer tools, SQL, CI/CD, and test automation is a plus.
