ErthDev is looking for a Tech Lead to guide engineering delivery on client projects and help teams make sound technical decisions.
You'll stay hands-on while mentoring engineers, shaping architecture choices, and protecting delivery quality.
What you'll do
- Lead technical direction for one or more project teams.
- Break down complex work into clear, deliverable slices.
- Review architecture and code for risk, clarity, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and standards.
- Collaborate with product, project management, and client stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks early and propose mitigations.
- Drive code quality, testing, and incremental delivery practices.
- Contribute to hiring and leveling conversations when needed.
- Balance client constraints with engineering integrity.
- Remain hands-on enough to unblock the team.

What we're looking for
- Significant production engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead technical delivery without micromanaging.
- Strong system design and code-review skills.
- Excellent communication with engineers and stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or coaching developers.
- Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty.
- Understanding of delivery processes and quality practices.
- Ability to say no constructively when risk is high.
Experience leading teams in a software house, consultancy, or multi-product environment is highly valuable.
