ErthDev is looking for a Blockchain Engineer to design and build distributed-ledger features when client problems genuinely need decentralization, verifiability, or shared state.
You'll focus on secure smart contracts, integrations, and operable systems—not hype.
What you'll do
- Design and implement smart contracts and blockchain integrations.
- Evaluate whether blockchain is the right tool for a given problem.
- Build secure on-chain and off-chain application components.
- Write tests and review contracts for common vulnerability classes.
- Integrate wallets, indexing, and backend services where needed.
- Document trust assumptions, risks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with security, backend, and product teams.
- Monitor deployments and support incident response for chain-related issues.
- Advise on architecture trade-offs and cost models.
- Keep implementations as simple as the trust requirements allow.

What we're looking for
- Practical smart-contract and blockchain development experience.
- Strong security awareness for on-chain systems.
- Solid backend engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to explain trade-offs to non-crypto stakeholders.
- Experience testing and reviewing contract code.
- Comfortable with cryptography basics relevant to applications.
- Clear documentation habits.
- Product judgment about when not to use blockchain.
Experience with Solidity, EVM chains, auditing practices, The Graph/indexing, wallet UX, and secure key management is a plus.
