How we think about cloud
We don't use cloud services simply because they're available.
We evaluate:
What does the product need?
What level of reliability is required?
What is the operational cost?
What security controls are necessary?
What complexity are we introducing?
Good cloud engineering is about making appropriate trade-offs.
